Dear Friends

Dear Friend
19 March

I'm trying to contact with Mrs. Kumagai who is one of the members of church..
I can hear the phone ringing.
No one take a call.
I hope that she evaculated to somewhere safe.

Now, postal package service and parcel delivery service are not available.
All railway routes around here were disconnected.
The lack of gasoline made the circulation severe.

But, I know from TV news that they begin to use harbor Shiogama today.
Trains with goods will come to Tohoku area along the Japan sea side of Island.
Shops open have been increasing.
Gasoline will come soon.

Don't worry.
We are fine.
My wife got in line on the bakery in this morning.
She got the numbered ticket #56.
She will get some bread.

We can check the radioactive ray with the Miyagi prefecture (Local
government) website.

They are the level low enough.

I read the book "The diary of Erwin von Balz".
He was a famous medical doctor who taught students in Japan more than
one hundred years ago.
He had a strong impression from the Japanese people who lost their
houses because of big fire in Tokyo.
But a few days after the fire, they had their face smile.
Indeed I can see the same scene.
They are exchanging the useful information and enjoying the chattering.

We are fine.
